The deadbolt lock is a system of bolts propelled and withdrawn by a key.
The door frame is the top and sides of the doorway that are used to support the door.
The door striker is the metal plate affixed to a door jamb with a hole or holes for the bolt of the door. When the door is closed, the bolt extends into the hole in the strike plate and holds the door closed.
Difficulty opening or closing – we will adjust as required during the 1 year warranty period.
Difficulty locking – We will adjust or replace locks as required during the 1 year warranty. Striker adjustments are homeowner maintenance, but Pacesetter Homes will do courtesy adjustments during the warranty period.
Can see daylight – possibly the weatherstrip has become compressed. This is normal maintenance, but Warranty will be effective for one year.
